dandelion days | hanson family session

There was something especially tender about this session with the Hanson family. We met in a quiet, open field dotted with dandelions and soft summer light – an effortlessly beautiful backdrop for a family full of connection and warmth. From the very beginning, it felt like stepping into a moment of their everyday joy.

Watching the way Mom and Dad connected with each of their kids – one-on-one and all together – was so sweet. Big brother, brought his natural curiosity and playful energy, while his baby sister offered the softest smiles and giggles. We made time for all kinds of pairings: mom with son, dad with daughter, and then switched – it’s always so special to highlight those unique bonds.

We made sure to carve out a few quiet moments for Mom and Dad alone. It’s something I always love to include in family sessions – because even in the wild and wonderful season of parenting littles, the love between partners is where it all began. This session was full of laughter, light, and so much tenderness. The Hansons were an absolute joy to photograph.
