This session with Avah was so refreshing. She showed up in a simple white dress and chose to go barefoot, which instantly set the tone. Nothing about it felt staged. It was just her moving naturally through the space and me capturing those small moments as they unfolded.
We spent time along the river, surrounded by tall trees and soft light. At one point she crouched down and reached into the water, curious and calm, like she was completely at ease being there. Those are the kinds of moments I love photographing because they feel real.
She carried a few white flowers for part of the session. They weren’t anything extravagant, but they added to the story in a quiet way. Sometimes it’s the little details that end up holding the most weight in the photos. Looking back, this shoot felt easy in the best way. Nothing forced, nothing overdone, just Avah and the setting coming together naturally.
