growing together | maternity session

Maternity sessions always feel like a little glimpse into a love story that’s still being written. This sweet family invited me into such a special season of their lives, and I loved seeing how much joy they carry as they prepare to welcome their newest little one.

Their daughter was the star of the evening. She was curious and playful, holding tight to mom’s hand one moment and running off to explore the next. Watching her love on her parents and even cuddle up with the family dog made the photos feel so natural and real.

Some of my favorite images from this session are the quiet ones. The soft smiles, the way mom rested her hands on her belly, and the little moments of connection between them all. Those are the details that tell a family’s story in the most honest way.

I left this session with such a full heart. Photographing families in seasons like this is such a gift, and I’m always reminded how meaningful it is to freeze these fleeting moments in time.
