Abby and Alex’s wedding was one of those days where you can feel the excitement buzzing through the air. From the moment I walked in while they were getting ready, it was clear this day was going to be full of energy, laughter, and love. There was so much joy in the little moments, like Abby’s mom zipping up her dress and giving her a hug, or Alex adjusting his tie before heading out to the beach.
Their first look happened on the sand with waves rolling in behind them. It was such a quiet, tender moment compared to the playful chaos that would follow later. The Neahkahnie mountains framed them beautifully and gave us the most perfect backdrop for portraits.
The wedding party brought so much personality to the day. From the groomsmen tossing a football around and even hoisting Alex on their shoulders, to everyone cheering as Abby and Alex played frisbee on the beach, it felt like one big celebration before the ceremony even began. Those carefree moments really captured the spirit of who they are as a couple.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt and meaningful. The beach held sentimental family history, making it the perfect place for them to say their vows. From their first kiss to the dip mid-aisle and their joyful run down the sand, every part of it radiated pure happiness.
The reception at the golf course kept the energy high. Guests gathered under a big white tent while Abby and Alex decided table arrangements with an epic game of rock paper scissors. The night unfolded with heartfelt toasts, the first dance, and a full dance floor that never slowed down. Even the grandparents joined in and boogied with the couple.
The dance floor had no shortage of incredible moves. Alex pulled out a handstand, there was a full-on dance battle between the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and at one point Alex was “surfing” across his friends as they rolled beneath him. He even got tossed into the air to the cheers of everyone around.
The night ended just as magically as it began, with a sparkling send-off under the stars. Abby and Alex ran through a tunnel of sparklers, and the last frame of the night was of the moon hanging in the sky, dreamy and timeless. It was the perfect ending to a day that overflowed with love, fun, and unforgettable memories.
